https://littleblackpig.wordpress.com/2015/02/08/looking-after-pigs
The Story of a Smallholding. February 8, 2015. February 8, 2015. There is nothing quite like seeing a curly tail on a pig to knowing that you have a happy pig. And this morning we certainly had at least 70 happy pigs. To be honest I have lost count of how many pigs we have right now all I know is that yesterday and today I have fed them and looked after them and Kate knows the numbers and works out how much feed per pen and I just count them out and deliver. Pacing up and down and giving me grief. You ar...

The Story of a Smallholding. January 4, 2015. Ok so yesterday it was all about waterproofs as I dripped around the farm, cleaning out water troughs and feeding the animals. Today was freezing and was all about breaking ice and checking all the stock were ok and had enough bedding and giving them their food. I am always up and about early at the weekends so it is one of the best things I like about our adventure …. Morning Rounds🙂. The animals are always glad to greet you and even have a little chat!
