The Crazy Life of the Tos: May 2012
http://thetofamily.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
The Crazy Life of the Tos. Going too fast, growing too fast.trying to slow down and savor each moment. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Thought it was funny the things I have taken for granted. showering is a major one, eating is another. Things that I am learning to master is eating quick, typing with one hand, showering under five minutes, and talking Kaden into doing things for himself without my help if I am tied up nursing or something. The Crazy Life of the Tos. Tuesday, May 8, 2012. One Month. Already?

Sunday, November 16, 2008. Well, I must say I had a blast of a birthday weekend! Friday we had dinner and Martinis with family and a couple of friends. Along the Flip Flop path: Playing Possum...
http://alongtheflipfloppath.blogspot.com/2009/07/playing-possum.html
This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave. Elmer Davis. Saturday, July 11, 2009. Friday night I was getting ready for bed when I heard Mike saying "Get it Oliver, get it! At this point I couldn't tell if it was a giant rat or a possum so I went scurrying inside. I wasn't going to have some rodent jump out and bite my toes! As they both run for the door. Apparently this Possum wasn't going to play dead any longer! From the daughter of the great white hunter: ...

running the race: restoration
http://gretchenmariez.blogspot.com/2012/12/restoration.html
Wednesday, December 19, 2012. I'm bleeding and empty. My peace is real; my joy is deep. And yet I don't recognize the person I've become. I run and easily become tired. Instead of alive with energy. I'm sleepy and exhausted. My space is cluttered. My camera waits in hiding. My journal pages are empty. I have deep love for those in my midst. But my well of abundance feels dry. And my efforts aren't enough. I'm depleted. tired. hurting. distracted. Create in me a clean heart. December 20, 2012 at 6:06 PM.

running the race: thinking out loud
http://gretchenmariez.blogspot.com/2012/02/thinking-out-loud.html
Saturday, February 18, 2012. Please don't kill the child. I want the child. Please give me the child. I am willing to accept any child who would be aborted, and to give that child to a married couple who will love the child…” Mother Teresa. Recently those words came to mind; after reading them in a book over ten years ago. I was challenged to say them out loud in some form, if I ever had the opportunity. When was I going to have that opportunity? Last week I heard that my patient had aborted her baby.

running the race: sustaining God
http://gretchenmariez.blogspot.com/2014/10/sustaining-god.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. To provide what is needed for (something or someone) to exist, continue, etc. To hold up the weight of , to give support or relief to, to supply with sustenance: nourish. To support the weight of, to carry or withstand (a weight or pressure), to bear up under. I sit in the quiet of a Saturday afternoon, with one one around. I look out the window to watch as the wind blows the remainder of the yellow leaves around the yard. The trees sway back and forth. He has sustained me!

I'm sure tucked away in a closet downstairs we have our wedding Thank You cards. That was 10 years ago folks. Guess what I'm not so good at? It's refreshing to have a clean organized work space. There's a few things I still need to do to this space but its a good start. Hope you are able to find one space to simplify and organize today. Lent Day 8: Desk.
