The Fast's - Cory & Mary: August 2011
http://lifethefastway.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 11, 2011. And then there were three. It's been a whirlwind of a time since I last wrote - it's been both exhausting and exciting! We are delighted to be able to introduce our baby girl, Saoirse. I know you might be wondering what kind of a name that is, or how to even say it, so I'll give you a little helping hand. Anyway, that's all - we just wanted to let you know she is here and that we are loving every moment of our life with her. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). And then there were three.

The Fast's - Cory & Mary: September 2010
http://lifethefastway.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. Well, it seems that the past week and a bit have been pretty uneventful, and thus I haven't really had anything to blog about. I guess I still don't really have anything to blog about, but after so many days thought I'd at least pop in and say a little hello. Anyway. Enough about the train tracks, I know I'm boring you already! I also saw my dr who said my T3 was a little high on the last blood test, so I dropped my cytomel down to half a pill in the morning instead of a ful...

The Fast's - Cory & Mary: Hello Third Trimester!
http://lifethefastway.blogspot.com/2011/04/hello-third-trimester.html
Wednesday, April 27, 2011. So, I am officially in the third trimester. There's a lot of different opinions on when that technically starts - some Dr's say 26 weeks, others say 27 weeks and there are some that say it doesn't start until 28 weeks. Well, that's what we're hoping, but we're also hoping that baby will decided he/she is ready at some time between me hitting 36 and 40 weeks. That would really help us out! So, with potentially another 8 - 12 weeks before we get to meet the little one we have fal...

The Fast's - Cory & Mary: April 2010
http://lifethefastway.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 30, 2010. Well, here I am in Donegal. Technically it’s the 30. April, but I’m in denial that it’s after 1am already so I’m still trying to pretend it’s Thursday. I’m not really sure what I expected to feel when I got here, but I was certainly surprised as I entered into Buncrana and drove the last few miles to the cottage. So, why different now? Maybe one day she will realize that life is too short for all this carry on, that we should treasure loved ones and let go of the past. Today The f...

The Fast's - Cory & Mary: The Wave!
http://lifethefastway.blogspot.com/2011/04/wave.html
Tuesday, April 19, 2011. I've decided I really need to be better about updating - but I know I'm bad, and really our life just isn't very interesting to anyone other than us most of the time. Another thing that baby Fast does is to 'stroke' a hand/foot/other body part yet to be identified across the inside of my belly. Let me tell ya, it is the weirdest feeling EVER! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Shower for a friend. How much bigger can I get? Fun and Games @ 27 weeks. You, Me and Uganda.

Helping animals | C'est la vie!
https://emeire.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/helping-animals
C'est la vie! Margaret Atwood Web Resources. June 13, 2011 in Animals. Animal Rights Action Network. Cork Animal Care Society. Yesterday, I finally got a chance to give a hand to my local animal rescue. I love animals and I admire the work these associations do (you might remember my article. Last winter). However, it is not always easy to help when you have either no money or little free time… I was thus delighted to have at last the opportunity to give a hand. The Cork Animal Care Society. By the way, ...

Angers and the Short Story | C'est la vie!
https://emeire.wordpress.com/2011/07/20/angers-and-the-short-story
C'est la vie! Margaret Atwood Web Resources. Angers and the Short Story. July 20, 2011 in Conferences. A small paved street near the cathedral. I was there for a conference, but arrived the evening before. The sun was shining and it was warm and I was at leisure to explore this charming town. I love small and disordered streets and I enjoyed wandering in them. There are many old stone buildings and a beautiful cathedral, as well as some. I decided to have my dinner on a terrace facing one of them. Delive...

Margaret Atwood Web Resources | C'est la vie!
https://emeire.wordpress.com/margaret-atwood-web-resources
C'est la vie! Margaret Atwood Web Resources. Margaret Atwood Web Resources. I have often come across sites created by researchers in order to gather the online information about an author. Those sites are really handy and I thought it would be a good idea to create a page with links to resources on Margaret Atwood. I usually bookmark those links, but I think that to have them all on a page would be helpful, to me and others. For a comprehensive bibliography on Atwood, consult. A work in progress…. You ar...

The Fast's - Cory & Mary: March 2011
http://lifethefastway.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 15, 2011. I am so excited to introduce you all to Miss Olivia, the newest member of our little family! I am sure you will agree that she is as cute as a button, but I will also add that she's a lively and feisty little thing! She's half Angus, half Holstein - she's 100% beautiful! So, we get our three into their new pen and give them a bottle feed, then Doug took the other two calves up the road to the friend we were picking them up for. Well, I haven't really been good about blogging late...
