Friday, January 6, 2012. The making of a "Happy Feet" birthday cake. I guess I'll eventually get around to posting about Christmas, eh? Hey, at least we didn't have the flu again! Here's what has kept me busy the last 2 days of my winter break from nursing school. In my opinion, the BEST part of homemade cake - BUTTERCREAM! Fondant is like edible Play-Doh! Leveled and ready to be stacked. Looks like I'm about to perform surgery, doesn't it? Nope, just tinting fondant. Top layer is now covered.
