Posted by Flammable at 3:49 PM. Friday, February 27, 2004. Vodka Testing at 3:30pm. The guys at the liquor store (all five of them) near my work know me by name. I walked in today, and I heard of chorus, "F is here! They then decided I HAD to try an expensive brand of vodka. I couldn't say no to free vodka! Today, talking to Mr...

It's Time for the Vacillator! Sunday, March 19, 2006. Or the other reader? Should I make my own reader? What should I do? Did they like the reading? Did they learn from the assignment? Should I change it or keep it the same? Should I give up? Maybe, but what will I do? Posted by Jen Threat at 7:35 PM. Wednesday, March 08, 2006. I last minute decided to go to dinner with E, Yells Alot and her daughter, but the latter two stood us up, so we met with E's dad and his cologne splashed friend at Lulu. It w...

It's Time for the Vacillator! Wednesday, January 25, 2006. Posted by Jen Threat at 8:06 PM. Thursday, January 19, 2006. Tuesday morning I spent getting all worked up. Usually when I do so, I am overreacting, and I inwardly know that, so that when the situation is not as dreadful as expected I am relieved and call myself silly. Tuesday, thought, I was extra worked up because I knew there was no possibility that the afternoon’s activities would not be unbearable. Posted by Jen Threat at 8:52 PM. Must try m...

It's Time for the Vacillator!: December 2005
http://jenthreat.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
It's Time for the Vacillator! Thursday, December 29, 2005. Wilz, WCZ and I ventured to the Milwaukee Art Museum (MAM) because on Wednesdays Milwaukee County residents with proof of residence handy receive free admission. We skipped the Rembrandt special exhibit due to lack of time and my paltry funds. Our first order of business was to play follow WCZ down the hallway. It led to the coat check and restrooms, which was great because I had to pee! Funny to see such a dirty, unappealing place kind of romant...

The Writer is Out There. The Writer’s on the move – welcome to the world of armchair travel into the gritty, sublime and surreal. March 17, 2007. Posted by globalscribe in General. GJ’s not feeling so hot as we arrive at the train station, it’s only Dad and I who marvel at the sea of people crouched on the opposite platform, anguished expressions on most of their faces. Every single one of them found a space on the train which pulled up looking pretty full already. There’s something terrifically exciting...

The Writer is Out There. The Writer’s on the move – welcome to the world of armchair travel into the gritty, sublime and surreal. Wishes Do Come True. May 13, 2007. Posted by globalscribe in General. As Christmas drew nearer, my heart shrank in on itself. The Civil Surgeon and the Commissioner were ‘out of town’ and ‘unavailable’. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that Christmas traditions won’t be happening out here. Of course I’ll miss it, but that’s okay. Cate and I are ...Not a fir tree, but a tree, w...

The Writer is Out There. The Writer’s on the move – welcome to the world of armchair travel into the gritty, sublime and surreal. March 17, 2007. Posted by globalscribe in General. And I was rather afraid that Baratpur might be a colossal re-enactment of all this. The early morning excitement (rather marred by an adult need for caffeine), the trudging through undergrowth, and sitting statuesque until the light rose and fell. Forestry workers wrapped themselves in blankets, huddles beside mini wood-fires,...
