Little Hills Sheep Ranch: Spot

http://littlehillssheepranch.blogspot.com/2012/01/spot.html

Friday, January 6, 2012. Spot passed away in October 2012 for an unknown reason :(. Spot is a light chocolate and white colored Katahdin ewe. We got Spot on March 24th, 2011 along with 5 other ewes from New Mexico (Thanks to Rena Cook! Spot is a nice and big and pretty ewe, she is built fairly good, but does not have the best conformation. But she does throw nice and pretty offspring (which is why we are keeping her right now). Here are some pictures. Posted by Little Hills Sheep Ranch.

Picture This!: Another Update + Pictures - The New (and the old)

http://picturethisoklahoma.blogspot.com/2012/06/another-update-pictures-new-and-old.html

Thursday, June 21, 2012. Another Update Pictures - The New (and the old). Sunday was the local soccer league finals, and our team, Revolution, won - but sorry, no pictures yet because I don't have them imported yet ;). 2 new male llamas - from registered stock. Another new animal we bought as an alpaca, but we think it's a llama/alpaca cross (I'm not joking). He is friendly. And here he is again with his friend, an alpaca. More new animals . . . we got over a dozen shetland sheep. Welcome to my blog!

Monday, November 28, 2011. We visited a dorper sheep farm that's just a few minutes away from our place. Here are some pictures of the visit. Sheep often do this when running by people. This farm is a beautiful place with nice sheep. Friday, November 25, 2011. Gomez - Horned Ram. This is one of our big-horn rams. Although he appears to be all white, he is actually a Painted Desert because of the ticking on his legs. Thursday, November 24, 2011. Homemade crustless pumpkin pie. Tuesday, November 15, 2011.

Me when I was around 7 years old. You may see my other "About Me" page on my other blog here. Taking pictures is a form of art. I have liked snapping away since I was little. Many things are to be learned, but I have just "taught myself" by experience. And I like to draw (mainly with pencil, but just looking into using charcoal). Therefore, my blog name "Picture This! A list of the birds I've taken pictures of and identified:. 7 Great Blue Heron. When I was a little. Now I print out pictures and try to "...

Overview

I chose to use fabric as my medium of expression because its potential as a fine art medium has not been fully explored. It is a challenge to use cloth as a painter uses oils or watercolors, and to use thread for drawing in place of a pen or pencil. The computers in today’s sewing machines give quilters unprecedented freedom to manipulate fabric and incorporate unusual stitches in creative ways.
