Friday, November 26, 2010. Every year, when we visit the beach, we take our "Annual Beach Pictures" of the girls. It is one of my favorite things to do. Monday, February 15, 2010. Winter Storm, Southern Style. Winter Storm, 2010". What a weekend and what a "storm" it was! That weekend, we were supposed to be seeing our dear friends, the Greers, who now live in Jackson, MS. We had been planning to see them for a couple of months, and then here comes the snow storm of snow storms (well, as far as the South is concerned), and we weren't able to see them. Both girls had an absolute blast playing in the snow! Posted by The Bucklers. Real isn't how you are mad...

The Bucklers: August 2009

Wednesday, August 5, 2009. August's Thankful Thirds - On The Fifth. As always, there is so much for which to be thankful this month! 1) Stanley does not have encephalitis, as the neurologist originally thought. He has SARDS, and although he is permanently blind, he is not in pain and will not have side effects of the condition. 2) Folex Spot Remover for Carpets if you have carpet, buy this at Lowe's. It really does a great job at getting out all sorts of spots! 3) Our children's health. Verse of the Day.

Friday, November 26, 2010. The girls are here! Their first breakfast in their new house poptarts and milk, sitting up at the bar. ;). That very next week, Alli Lane went to a summer session/orientation for new students at Hancock. She loved it! Boots was excited, too! Daddy's first day of work as a "real doctor" the girls made him a sweet sign and hung it on the front door for him to see when he came home that day. The girls had fun playing with other children in the neighborhood! Before school started, ...

The Bucklers: November 2010

Friday, November 26, 2010. In early August, Boots began to show more interest in potty training. She would go to our bathroom and pull out her little potty. She always had a book or two in hand. No pressure, though; we rarely talked about it, and she would do it all by herself when she felt like it of course. ;). Have I mentioned that we LOVE our neighborhood? And for so many reasons. Well, that was in mid-June. By the time mid-August rolled around, it was time for another throw-down! The girls played, g...

Monday, March 29, 2010. For those of you who have been emailing, asking for updates and, specifically, a lot of pictures here you go! Spring is off to a good start in the Buckler household. We have been having a lot of fun, and this post is a random assortment of a handful of the things we have been doing to stay busy. Spring has been beautiful and nice except for the unbelieveable pollen this year! And that was just the first wave of "Augusta Snow" this year. Alli tells me that LK is lucky for several r...

The Bucklers: September 2009
http://thebucklers.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Before you become a parent, everyone feels the need to tell you how much your life will change once you have a baby. There is no more sleeping in on a Saturday morning. Adult conversation all but ceases to exist if little ones are awake. Dinner out with friends? Funny, isn't it, that as many times as you hear that "your life will change," no one ever mentions the big. Yes, everything changes the moment you find out you will be a Mommy or a Daddy. A 20 month old in Boots' MD...
