Williams Syndrome: Dad's Journey into the unknown. Thursday, September 12, 2013. We are waiting, we are waiting. Mostly in to theatre nearly 3 hours ago. We do not expect to see him inside another 4. We wait. The greatest fear I have is that the last thing E will know is me restraining him, while the mask is applied for the gas. My greatest hope is that he remembers the last words said to him while awake. "I love you" from his mum and "keep fighting bubba" from me. Most recently, the support of complete ...

Williams Syndrome: Dad's Journey into the unknown. Saturday, May 26, 2012. God Only Knows What I'd be Without You - a post about E's Mum. When E's mum and I got married I wanted the first dance to be to the Beach Boys "god only knows". I settled for the last dance and as an aside wore flop flops, something I swore I would do on my wedding day! The song makes me think more of her now than then - God only knows what I'd be without you. So, E's mum, the person who makes this dad's journey into the unknown a...

Williams Syndrome: Dad's Journey into the unknown. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. What if we had known? Due warning: this is not an easy post to write and is not likely to be an easy post to read - but its what's been in my head - so its coming out - it has taken me three weeks to get to this. This was brought up in my mind by one of the things I look at and it got me to thinking. It was the decision we came to the first time - and we didn't need to use it, so decision remained the same. E's condition has...

http://unexpectedjourneys.blogspot.com/2009/03/back-in-saddle-again.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Back in the saddle again. It's been a whirlwind since coming home from the hospital. Brady has taken off like a rocket and I am amazed at how different he is. Health-wise, Brady only lost a few ounces, which was amazing. His eating has improved. His recovery with his incision. You'll note in these pictures Brady is actually doing SOMETHING. very little laying around now. he's outta here! Sounds like he is doing great. Told you to watch out! That is so awesome to hear, Kerry!

Unexpected Journeys: November 2008
http://unexpectedjourneys.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Ode to Love Puppy. On Valentine's Day of Two thousand eight,. I was pleasantly surprised to find my mate. It wasn't a girl, for that I am sure. It was a puppy with red and white fur. For months he hung around with the stuffed bear,. When, suddenly, my eyes opened up, excited to see him there. With red hearts blazing all over his white frame,. I smiled at him, and Love Puppy was named. My mom was excited that I loved this guy. I couldn't care less before; now, I wasn't shy!
