(it's slightly distorted because part of it's over my boobs, lol). And I made a skirt out of jeans too. OK, here goes. I had to plop the child in front of disney.com to be able to drag this all out LOL. More wool. And some cotton. Some novelty yarn. Monday, November 20, 2006. The holidays, knitting plans, etc. I am not holiday knitting this year (which I'm sure is really obvious since I haven't mentioned it), the lack of appreciation I got for last years stuff has made me not want to take the time or the effort or spend the money. But the nice thing is it frees up my time to selfishly knit for myself :P. I also would love to copy this minus the hood. And now I must clean because I'm having people over for thanksgiving : . Sunday, January 21, 2007. Finally finished some stuff. Pattern: Nada, got the intarsia out of Style your Own Kid's Knits. Bonus crocheted spider because after I finished the blanket he asked me where the spider to go into the web was. Pair number 2 of fingerless convertible mittens (stash project). And last but not least, all the supplies for my first from scratch skirt:. Notice the yardstick, it's so lame lol, that's all they had at the store. A quilter does not live here! Friday, October 20, 2006. Insert something witty here as it's too early*. I finished the child's sweater last night, I'm not sure I love the way it turned out but meh it's too late now. The Debbie Bliss pattern I used was so full of mistakes it bordered on the ridiculous but thank god I've been knitting long enough to know how to fix such things. Tuesday, February 21, 2006. Trying to make an olympic comeback. Well, I simply couldn't let my disease get me down. I switched to a less complicated pattern that doesn't require being able to see tiny detail work, and am almost done with my first sock! Maybe I can do this after all. They won't be fancy, but I will have said a big FU to my illness. I'm doing most of my knitting at night, when the nausea isn't as bad. I'm really going to try to do this. Wish me luck!
