The biggest project was painting our headboard. Our headboard is a hand me down we’ve had since we got married. Here’s the blah wood before shot:. Weekend Projects Part 1. That paint m...

What free time?: November 2008

Saturday, November 15, 2008. For some reason, I always try to resist the latest fad but almost always jump on the bandwagon at some point in time. When Vera Bradley became popular my junior year of college, I said that I would never pay $40 dollars for a piece of quilt. Since then I have owned about 5 Vera Bradley purses, 2 pieces of luggage, and countless accessories (although I will say that my love of Vera Bradley has officially ended). And then blogging was born. I haven't created a blog because.

What free time?: January 2011

Monday, January 31, 2011. So I have stumbled across this idea a few places and I thought I would jump on the "30 before 30" train. Over 7 months before I turn the big 3-0. I decided to make a list of 30 things that I would like to accomplish (notice how I use "like to" in this sentence) before September 2nd rolls around. 1) Find an exercise routine that I can enjoy and can STICK TO. 2) Learn how to make homemade pizza dough. 3) Maintain the blog (I will define this at at least 2 posts/week). 18) Stick to...

Monday, 14 November 2011. If it's a boy. The same pattern as the little ladies diapers below, just minus the ruffles. And the headband won't do for a boy, so I've hand stitched this tie to the front of a top to complete the set. Sunday, 13 November 2011. My little sister just got engaged! We had a perfect picnic in the park with the sun shining and lots of treats. Now for the wedding. Wednesday, 9 November 2011. If it's a girl. TickleBugz: Toddler haircuts
http://ticklebugz.blogspot.com/2014/04/toddler-haircuts.html
Monday, April 14, 2014. So this happened on Saturday. Luckily, Kenley's handiwork wasn't obvious. But then I noticed the piles of hair on the floor and I finally registered K's hair. Even crazy, short hair can't stop this one from being adorable! And as for T, I brushed out many, many clumps of loose hair that K had indeed cut, but I did notice more around T's face that she had to have cut herself. Thankfully, there is hair gel and hairspray to keep these chunks in place for her recital. Stay at home mom.

HeavenLee Creations: February 2011

Thursday, February 24, 2011. Finally I have taken some pics of some "non-baby" related clothes I've sewn recently! Since christmas I have been living in these summer dresses. Great to throw over bathers, around the house, duck out to the shops. anything really. It was very easy to make and i'll be making more and maybe as some tops too. Here is a Red and Grey swirly pattern in a coton jersey material. I used some scraps to make a red plaited tie to go around the top. Thursday, February 17, 2011. I have b...
