Thoughts of a Sojourner: Update #3
http://wanderingsojourner.blogspot.com/2008/09/update-3.html
Thoughts of a Sojourner. For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner like all my fathers. We've been encouraged each day by little reminders that God is intimately aware of where we are and what we are going through. Yesterday we walked past a Starbucks and a man was sitting there reading his Bible. Randy said, "Oh, that's a good Book you're reading! Thanks again for all your prayers and encouraging emails! Thoughts of a Sojourner: After-Surgery Update
http://wanderingsojourner.blogspot.com/2008/09/after-surgery-update.html
Thoughts of a Sojourner. For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner like all my fathers. I just talked with the doctor and he said the surgery went really well. The herniated part of the disc was removed, so hopefully as the days progress, Randy's pain will decrease. He will be in recovery for another couple of hours, and then be returned to our room. We should be here in the hospital for another couple of days. Thanks so much for all of your prayers! We will continue to keep you posted!

Thoughts of a Sojourner: Coming Home
http://wanderingsojourner.blogspot.com/2008/10/coming-home.html
Thoughts of a Sojourner. For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner like all my fathers. After 3 weeks of living in Bangkok, we are flying back to the US on Friday! Today I met a guy who knows half of the staff I worked with in Slovakia! We met friends of friends in Kazakhstan. We even "randomly" ran into one of our Kaz teammates in a mall here! He was just passing through on his way back from a speaking engagement. So, we had time to grab a Starbucks and catch up. So why do I write all this?

Thoughts of a Sojourner: Holding Hands
http://wanderingsojourner.blogspot.com/2008/09/holding-hands.html
Thoughts of a Sojourner. For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner like all my fathers. Today I held my husband's hand as we walked up and down the hospital hallways. Since he's been using crutches for weeks, I hadn't even realized how much I missed holding his hand as we walked! Thank you again for your prayers during this time! I was so happy to read this positive update. I also enjoyed the sweet glimpse into your relationship! May God continue to use this for His glory! 30 September, 2008 23:32.

Thoughts of a Sojourner: It's a BOY!
http://wanderingsojourner.blogspot.com/2009/01/its-boy.html
Thoughts of a Sojourner. For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner like all my fathers. Thanks for all your prayers for us! We had an ultrasound on Monday, and found out that Baby Fields is a HE. Needless to say, Randy is thrilled that his firstborn child is a son. We praise God for a good report: the baby is developing well, and is already over a pound! The tech said, "Wow, he is a very active baby! He keeps moving around! So, it appears that he is already taking after his energetic, extroverted father!
