My Life without Bread: Has it really been that long???
http://doolen25.blogspot.com/2008/05/has-it-really-been-that-long.html
My Life without Bread. This is about my trip away from sugar. Monday, May 12, 2008. Has it really been that long? So, we went on the trip. I won a little bit of money (a very little bit, hehehe) but it was so much fun. I have so much fun with my best friends from high school. What a huge relief that it all went off without a hitch! We'll definitely be going back. I just wish it was right now! The weather was fantastic, the shopping was cool, the food was delicious and the company was A number one!

My Life without Bread: January 2013
http://doolen25.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
My Life without Bread. This is about my trip away from sugar. Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Post One - New and Improved. I decided to change the name of my blog because of the focus of my life right now. Besides my kids, who always and forever come first, I am trying to kick my lifelong addiction to sugar. It's going pretty well so far. I HAVEN'T killed anyone, so that's a positive. I'm going to try to avoid any detailed descriptions of my digestive tract by just saying that things are 'moving along nicely'.

Project Quilting Focus Through the Prism (June): Yellow Friendship Star. It’s the second month of the color challenge Focus Through the Prism. The block is Friendship Star and I picked the yellow Cherrywood fabric. There was another panel in my stash that was asking to be cut up, so I complied and made it the background. There isn’t a before picture, but here is what was remaining. I also used some hand dyed vintage yellow fabrics from Debby Henning at Zebra Arts. I sent my quilt off to Marcia Wa. Fill i...
