Lovely linen part 2 | Littlemissmaker's Blog
https://littlemissmaker.wordpress.com/2009/05/21/lovely-linen-part-2
Lovely linen part 2. May 21, 2009 at 12:51 pm. I saw a basic pattern in Sew Hip Magazine. Which I adapted to suit me. I used a sheet of A3 paper as a start and measured out a square using the short edge as one side so 297mm x 297mm and cut out two pieces of linen and two pieces of lining at this size. Would have dearly liked some orange for this too. But it was Sunday and I wanted my bag now and didn’t want to wait till I could get some more thread. Another lovely linen item. Lovely linen part 1 | Littlemissmaker's Blog

Lovely linen part 1. May 21, 2009 at 12:25 pm. Before going to meet Dorling Kindersly book people, I noticed that the spine of my portfolio/book had a small tear in it. I didn’t have time to go get a new portfolio and thought it could be rather tasty to make my own cover. My only worry was that it would need to be beautifully finished, tasteful, simple and look professional or I’d be better off with my torn spine. Next I got a ruler and drew nice straight lines and made sure I had nice right angles using...

Am dreading when my girls get to the day where they reject all things cute. What will I do? I’ll have no way of disguising that it is actually me who has the Hello Kitty fetish. I’m fully appreciating their love of all things cute though while it lasts so when I found this book by Aranzi Aronzo. I was a bit excited. They’ve done a few books and all full of more cuteness than you can throw a pussy cat at. The one I have is called simply Cute Stuff. May 3, 2009 at 2:04 pm. Buttons, buttons everywhere.
Catching Up Part 1 | Littlemissmaker's Blog
https://littlemissmaker.wordpress.com/2013/08/21/catching-up-part-1
Catching Up Part 1. August 21, 2013 at 9:32 pm. I have massively neglected my poor old blog. There I was starting with all good intentions and then life ran away with me. I won’t be boring with too many details but in short there was a year with a minimum of 25 hours a week commuting and a slight change of career from print design to digital design which involved a pretty steep learning curve plus the usual hectic mum stuff. Thankyou YouTube for being there for the crochet learning. Also the book ...

kitten delicious: Suffolk Puff Dress
http://kittendelicious.blogspot.com/2010/06/suffolk-puff-dress.html
Tuesday, June 8, 2010. I guess this photo looks pretty much exactly like the last photo. but it is not the same! It is now completely finished! For my next trick, I am going to try making a little kids plush ball using something like a soccer ball pattern. All out of suffolk puffs of course and with a little bell inside of it for Beatrice to play with. Said [Reply to comment]. Oooh, I love it! I cant wait to see it in real life! Ill definitely send a picture as soon as we get it! June 8, 2010 at 10:34 PM.
kitten delicious: Let The Dress Making Begin!
http://kittendelicious.blogspot.com/2010/05/let-dress-making-begin.html
Friday, May 28, 2010. Let The Dress Making Begin! This post is for Dusty and Mia. I have been sewing up extra pink suffolk puffs all week and I took all the pink ones out of my stash so now I have a basket full of them to make up a pinafore dress for Mia. All the pinks and reds look so good together that I have decided to make Beatrice a red and pink ball next using a plush soccer ball pattern with a little jingly bell inside. Said [Reply to comment]. kitten delicious: photo shoot
http://kittendelicious.blogspot.com/2010/07/photo-shoot.html
Wednesday, July 21, 2010. I haven't done much crafting or sewing lately. I'm not sure what I have been doing at all lately actually. The time disappears so quick. I guess mostly I have been trying to get my life into some sort of routine, mostly for Beatrice, but also for me. I also started at the gym this week! Surely I can find something not Beatrice related to do in my spare time, can't I? Said [Reply to comment]. Love the dress that she is wearing in the second photo - and also that pose is cute!
kitten delicious: Suffolk Puff Dress Progress
http://kittendelicious.blogspot.com/2010/05/suffolk-puff-dress-progress-or-i-failed.html
Monday, May 31, 2010. Suffolk Puff Dress Progress. I'm not going to be able to finish the suffolk puff dress in time to send it off today. I was just so close too. It's a funny little dress to put together because you can't make curves easily out of suffolk puffs when they are joined together. If I knew a little girl who was just the right size, then I could try it on her and see how it is going to look properly, but alas! I have no such model. Now I know why the lady who made this. kitten delicious: Giveaway Day Winner!
http://kittendelicious.blogspot.com/2010/05/giveaway-day-winner.html
Saturday, May 22, 2010. The giveaway day comp is now closed and after much deliberation I have decided that Dusty, who suggested I make a girls pinafore dress is the winner. Thankyou everyone for your entries and your great ideas. I truly wish I could make all these lovely items for you but the work that goes in to making all these suffolk puffs is just phenomenal! It would take me several lifetimes to make all these goodies. Said [Reply to comment]. I cant wait to see what you come up with!
kitten delicious: it's been so long!
http://kittendelicious.blogspot.com/2010/07/its-been-so-long.html
Wednesday, July 7, 2010. It's been so long! It has been a month since last post. I wasn't meaning for time to slip away from me so quickly. I have thought to myself many many times over the last month that I have to do a post but then I have always followed that thought up with a reply something along the lines of "later". Plus, Beatrice has been doing all this growing up! I think I would like to make a little girl's poncho out of puffs next. What do you think? Said [Reply to comment]. I did get the dres...
kitten delicious: Chloe's Birthday Present
http://kittendelicious.blogspot.com/2010/05/chloes-birthday-present.html
Wednesday, May 26, 2010. I finished Chloe's birthday present the other night. You can see grumpy bunny testing it out, she doesn't look too pleased about it. Grumpy bunny doesn't like anything though. She is very picky. Said [Reply to comment]. I cant imagine a little girl who wouldnt love it! May 26, 2010 at 10:58 PM. Said [Reply to comment]. This story has a happy ending. I won’t be writing about that today because it isn’t the end yet. The in-between parts have a LOT of happy too. Some of them, however, are raw and real and dark. At 7 am, Mike Reilly boomed into the microphone in his iconic voice, “Have the best day of your lives! The spectators were so thickly lining the h...

Little Miss Malady | Oh, Life!
April 23, 2013. By Little Miss Malady. I’m having a difficult time trying to give this post a title, so I’m just going to jump in and start typing. One of those stream-of-consciousness type things. First of all, Big Scary Adult Decision 2 complete! We made the decision to procreate. I knew, I’ve always known, that things wouldn’t be easy what with my slew of medical issues. My family doctor decided that the biggest hurdle, or at least the one we needed to jump over first, was my diabe...The first few mon...
