Tuesday, December 21, 2010. Christmas – Texarkana Style. Indeed a sad display of photos (not a single picture that resembles Christmas), but a great day for fishing. Nana nor I made it into a single picture, but the fish and the worms sure did! Monday, December 13, 2010. Beauty and the Beast. I have no pictures of the “Guy’s Day”, but according to Tate they went to “Man Stores” (Lowe’s, Home Depot, Academy, and Gander Mountain). Tate says they had fun. :). Friday, December 10, 2010. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Santa visited us at home on the 23rd, because Cayla wrote in her letter that we’d be headed to Mimi’s on Christmas Eve. Friday, August 31, 2012. Week 1–almost complete! PE and lunch are currently his favorite subjects, but that’s all about to change because on Monday they start science. This boy is ecstatic about learning science and Monday can’t come quickly enough for him. I hope he’s not disappointed with kindergarten science lessons. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Well Jaxon received his first good bruise this evening. He's had bumps before, I mean this child is active. He's bump his head on the bed, toys, etc. When that happens there's a red mark that goes away in 20-30 mins. Usually no crying either. Tonight however, we had not just a red mark. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Friday was our Fall Follies Day at school. It was a day filled with dressing up, a costume parade, and hundreds of sugar crazed children! I must say there were some pretty creative costumes in the parade. I think my favorite was the little 4 year old who brought a live piglet riding in a wagon with a spider web and spider attached to the cage. The weather had been great for a week leading up to taking pictures and then the day we want to take pictures a cold front has come through and it is quite cool and the cloudy. Sunday, January 9, 2011. Yesterday was my first day of giving myself an insulin shot before eating and honestly, I didn't even feel it. It hurts worse to prick myself 4-6 times a day to check my blood sugar than it did to give myself a shot of insulin. When I checked my blood sugar after using the insulin, my levels were great!
