Saturday, September 6, 2008. The weather has been LOVELY here the last week. I haven't turned my A/C on at all. Its been great to have fresh, cool, crisp fall air blowing through my house all day. Benefit if you live nearby is that I also LOVE to share yummy food and yummy treats! There is an ulterior motive for this also-its so I don't weigh 400 pounds by the end of my baking season! Sunday, October 7, 2012. When we bought our entertainment center almost 2 years ago, I told Levi I'd only get it if he promised we could paint it black. So this month, I decided it was time to finally revamp it. Cami has done lots of projects with spray paint and so she held my hand and helped me, layer by layer and can by can. And so, we started out with a plain veneer entertainment center from Shopko. After 5 cans of gray Valspar Perfect Finish Primer. And FOURTEEN cans of Rust-Oleum Black Lacquer.

Our Busy Little Life. Thursday, June 11, 2009. Today we went to the "Princess Festival". In Lindon. All the money goes to the women in Kenya. It was such a "magical" place. The girls (McKinley, Addison, and Kameryn) had a great time helping the Blue Fairy find and save all the princesses from the wicked scary witch. Of course there were a billion pictures taken, but these are some of my favorite. I am so happy we went and I am planning on going next year! Next stop Mickelsen Farm. It was so much fun!

Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Crockpot Freezer Meals = SUCCESS! Last Saturday, Mom and Morgan came down and helped me prepare a bunch of freezer meals - and it was awesome. If we hadn't kept stopping to chat, and stopped for lunch, we would have been done in less than two hours guaranteed. Two hours. Of work and now I have 10 meals that I can pull out whenever I need to, throw one in the crockpot on my way out the door, and it will be ready when I get home from work. I'm stoked.
