Sunday, May 31, 2015. He cracks me up! His love for anything baseball has flowed over to getting a binder and trading card sheet protectors for his cards, he's so proud of his binder! We hadn't been to the zoo in a long time, so I took the kids today and it was perfect! We had a lot of fun seeing the animals, the super cool Lego sculptures and then riding the train. That's a Lego sculpture of two people gardening, so cool! A wheelbarrow Lego sculpture. Abby's skyscraper Lego structure. The smell of sweet...

wandering and wondering: One Year
http://caraandwinston.blogspot.com/2011/03/one-year.html
All those who wander are not lost. Where would I get treatment? What kind of treatment would I receive? When would I start? How do I tell my friends? How do I tell my students? Can I still teach during treatment? But the most important decision I had to make, the most important question that needed an answer was How am I going to deal with this? I can truthfully say that. I live a full, rich life, and I have done so for ALL of my 32 years. So there, cancer. Showed you. Cara, you amaze me. I have tear...

http://caraandwinston.blogspot.com/2009/02/pro-humanitate-in-high-school.html
All those who wander are not lost. Pro Humanitate. in high school? I will tell everyone who wants to listen (and even some who don't) about how much I love my job. I get to teach some of the coolest kids around in a school where the teachers care about teaching and the administrators work tirelessly to make sure that we have everything we need to do our jobs well. Tonight was a really good example of why I love my students and our school. Stephen stole a line from Maryland! That is SO great! These are a ...

8230;welcome to it. April 2, 2010. This blog is really lacking since we’ve moved back to the U.S. Our lives don’t seem nearly as exciting or blog-worthy and I don’t take pictures of everyday things like I did when we lived abroad. So, I’ve decided to at least do a monthly recap to try to revive this thing. From → Completely Random. Larr; Travel Friends and Surprise Mail – Love It! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. 8230;welcome to it. Travel Friends and Surprise Mail – Love It! February 12, 2010. So, we were so happy when we received a package in the mail this week:. Our South Korean friends, Eui and Jae, from our overland trip in southern Africa wrote a memoir of the trip and made a book and sent us a copy. Of course the whole thing is in Korean and I have no clue what it says, but I love it! Eui is on sabbatical and just spent the last couple of months in South America. We wish them all the best!
