Monday, March 2, 2009. A few Birkie pictures. Here are a few pictures from the Birkie. I was a little bit slower than last year, but was still happy with my time. Considering I trained on average less than 3 hours a week for a roughly 3 hour race and since I had to stop for a few minutes to put a contact lens back into my eyeball my time was very comparable to last year. Friday, February 6, 2009. Okay, so who are we fooling? This blog will be going down in the next week or so. Au revoir, ardent fans!

Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Last Saturday Richard and I went with our friends Johnny and Sheena Chaston to Treinen Farm. In Lodi to do their corn maze. It was really fun - I'd never done a corn maze before, but I thought trying to figure out how to make the little maps they gave us get us to the right places was really fun! Sunday, December 14, 2008. Plus One Makes Three. Richard and I saw this statuette at the mall yesterday. It looks a lot like our future family, so we had to get it! Here is a link to a picture of it. Here it is in our living room:. The man has a little more hair than Richard does and the woman has a little less than I do, so I guess it balances out. We are excited for our little addition! Sunday, October 12, 2008. Today Richard and I went for a walk. I took my camera along to capture some of the amazing colors we have been blessed with here in Madison this week. I love fall! It's my favorite season! Leaves. This is now my desktop background. This tree was seriously amazing. There are so many different colors! I agree. Eagle Heights has some of the best trees. We went to the UW arboretum but weren't as impressed as with what's all around us here. October 13, 2008 at 10:03 AM.

Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Update and Christmas Decorations. From what I blog, it probably seems like there's nothing going on in our world except my pregnancy. While my pregnancy certainly is in the forefront of everything we do, we do do other things besides think about our baby and all the troubles it's caused me. (Ha ha! We also think of how wonderful it will be! But we'll both be very happy when the Wonders of Pregnancy have passed us by to alight on some other unsuspecting couple.).
