A Grape-y Kind of Day. Start with a sinkful of grapes. Put some in a jar with sugar and water. Cook 'em up for a while. And you have grape juice. Take some more grapes, smash them, then cook. Let the juice drain out. And cook it into jelly. Be sure to wear an apron. Wish we could take a photo of the smell.mmmmm.

Sunday, December 28, 2014. A friend asked if I could make some new pillow covers for her for Christmas. Of course! For the first pillow I used wool felt, cut different sizes of circles, and added different kinds of embroidery stitches for fun. I hand-sewed the circles on the background. I got the idea here.
