Looking at Life from all angles. Thursday, March 31, 2011. My Dog, Woody. Evidently no one knew Woody was mine. That might be because everyone has always known I’m not an “animal lover.”. After years of wondering where my fear of animals came from – the dogs, the cats, the ducks….even the gigantic farm horse at the stables in San Antonio – my mom enlightened me. I had to be at least 24 by then, and had two children. When I was 18 months old my mother lost me. Mom said I never liked animals after that.

Looking at Life from all angles. Friday, July 11, 2008. Run On, Maggie. My mother told me that when I was 18 months old she found me in the front yard, surrounded by dogs, screaming my lungs out. I don't remember the incident, of course, but she always pointed to it when trying to explain my fear of dogs. I was afraid of dogs up until several years ago. We didn't do anything major for it, however Nathan's family came that weekend to celebrate. We did have a little party with a few presents. One of his favorite activities - pushing things over. Yay, it's my birthday! Ooh, what is that? Hmm, interesting. Never had anything like this before. That was too much fun.
