In January 2014 Little Stars sent 75 large boxes of clothes and toys (4 cubic metres) to Syria with the Islamic Aid Group and Hand in Hand For Syria. The clothes are to be distributed in the refugee camps and were very gratefully received by the organisers of the disaster fund. Permission from the donors of the items to redirect the items was sought and received prior to shipment.

A winged Isis was chosen as the Little Stars mascot because by legend she is the protector of children. If asked to protect children she will hold them in her arms and enfold them in her wings of love and peace. The aim of Little Stars is to protect all children in that way.
