Boy Wonders: January 2013
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Friday, January 18, 2013. These kids make me laugh. I don't think I'm biased when I say this. I really think I'm just stating a fact. My boys are funny. They all have a great sense of humor. And clearly they've learned this character trait from me and Jeff because we are hi larious. Have no socks so your feet are cold OR get eaten by a snake? Go to the doctor OR have to hide in a hole with a bunny? I choose hanging out with the bunny in a hole.

Boy Wonders: December 2012
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Friday, December 28, 2012. We begin the Christmas season with concerts the kids perform at school. And a visit with Santa Claus. We are lucky that Santa visits our neighborhood's clubhouse each year, so it's much easier and more convenient than the mall. Jacob asked for an Xbox 360, Alex asked for Legos (and he'd like to share the Xbox 360), and Will asked for cars. My nephew asked for a Mickey Mouse toy. My 3 cute cookie makers.. Photographic ...

Boy Wonders: November 2010
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Thursday, November 18, 2010. I've mentioned that Will has mastered pulling himself up onto his knees. And while he's come close to straightening those legs out, he still hadn't quite gotten the hang of standing. But Will is a determined and strong-willed little fella. His name suits him well. A few days ago, as I stood by our kitchen table helping Jacob with his homework, I glanced into the family room to check on Will. And what did I see? Monda...

Boy Wonders: October 2010
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Friday, October 29, 2010. How to tell Halloween is near. In the days before Halloween, hearing the question "How many more days 'til we go trick or treatin'? On a regular basis can be a dead giveaway that the holiday is approaching. In addition to this repetitive question, the fall weather, pumpkins on porches, and seasonal displays in stores, there are a few other clues that signal Halloween is near. Preschool Halloween costume parties. And her...

Boy Wonders: October 2012
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Monday, October 29, 2012. There's absolutely no way I can write about an entire year. Way too much has happened. But let me try to touch on some of the big stuff:. Jacob is nearing 7-1/2 years old, Alex turned 5 this summer, and Will is 2-1/2. They're all adorable, smart, handsome, hilarious, and sweet. Jacob is still the little artist and musician at heart. Alex loves numbers and homework. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Enjoying the Small Things.

Boy Wonders: February 2011
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Sunday, February 13, 2011. Yesterday Will took his first steps. We had a feeling it would happen soon, considering that a couple of weeks ago, he took his first step. One step only. And since then, every time he took that one step, he'd purposely lower himself to the ground and speed crawl. He must have been waiting for a big audience to show off his new skill. Yep This achievement deserves some applause. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Is This Thin...

Boy Wonders: November 2012
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. In a blog post back in August '08, I said this. Was the best invention ever, but I would like to officially name a recent purchase I made on Amazon.com as the new contender. Behold. The invention that is so ingenious, it only has to sit there and it magically keeps an active toddler in his bed. I bought this after Will began climbing out of his crib and surprising us during the 6:00 hour of the morning ("Hi, Mama!

Boy Wonders: September 2011
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Thank you, Jacob. Is this still my blog? Is it OK if I come back? I have no excuse. No good one, anyway. I do find it slightly amusing that my last post was about Will starting to take his 1st steps, and then suddenly I'm gone for 6 months. I'll let Will's perpetual motion, climbing, running, and extremely active personality take partial blame for my absence. He asked Jeff, "What do we look like in Heaven? Maybe not ...

Boy Wonders: 2012 in Pictures
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2013/01/2012-in-pictures.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Since I slacked on my blog for the vast majority of 2012, I decided to post a quick Year in Review to catch up. Obviously, I'm not going to have a picture for every event in our lives that happened in 2012, but I'm trying to touch on the big stuff. Here we go! Not much happened in January, so let's start with February. In spite of the icing typos, it was absolutely delicious. Nan turned 60 in March! My sister, dad, Aunt...

Boy Wonders: March 2011
http://sweetchildrenofmine.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Life as the Heroine in a House full of Superhero Sidekicks. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Since taking his first steps last month, Will has only become busier and busier (and by default, so have I). At 10 months old, it seems that he is hitting milestones left and right. He's growing up so quickly, that I half expect to wake up tomorrow to find him sipping coffee, flipping pancakes on the griddle and saying, "Hey, Ma. How would you like your eggs? And usually lower himself to the floor, ever so slowly. I don...
