January 5, 2015. January 12, 2015. Ya… and normal clothes. weird. It was mission unity day! So we wore normal clothes and had training and played sports… It was great! And this is snow on the top of a barrel cactus. it was a new years miracle 🙂. This was a week full of miracles. We have been working more closely with our members, relying more fully on the Lord and learning to listen to the voice of the Spirit more fully. It’s been fun! Not much time, but I hope you all have a fantastic week!

June 16, 2014 – One month down… whoa. June 16, 2014. August 11, 2014. Life comes at you fast. I am already 1/18th done with my mission? It’s fun though! A is getting baptized on Saturday! And he’s preparing to receive the priesthood so he can baptize his daughter the next Saturday! They are working on reading scriptures and praying daily and the difference is INCREDIBLE! There is POWER in the Word of God. And N and J - two friends who are getting ready to be baptized in two weeks- are doing great too!

Finding Ways to Choose Joy. Saturday, January 7, 2017. What happened to me? I used to run nonstop. I loved it last winter semester. Matt somehow got me to wake up early on a Saturday morning and put on layer after layer to do my favorite run- the Utah lake train. The amount of layers I thought this run would require was a little too much. I've officially learned that wearing 15 pounds worth of clothes would mean 15 pounds to carry through the trail! Next time, I'm leaving some layers at home.

Finding Ways to Choose Joy. Monday, April 25, 2016. Looking back on this past semester is eye opening. Gratitude is the first word that comes to my heart. I couldn't ask for better friends or better lessons learned. Coming back form a mission was hard. I had so many people helping me along the way. Two homies in particular taught me the most. How important it is to be loyal and 100% open and honest. Sometimes you just have to throw away the agenda and let your hair down. Nobody expects me to be perfect.
