Rangers were using shovels and wheelbarrows to clear the parking lot and the road in/out was sand-covered and deep in some areas. As we leave…dunes and wildflowers. Main Street, Guadalupe, CA. On Hwy 1 as we go further north. Back on 1 going north, we find street signs for Pacific Coast Highway…Pismo, Shell Beach, etc. Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Little Thoughts Traveling with Sue and Jerry. Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Sun May 4 – Tues. May 7, 2013. Had great lupper (lunch/supper) and then got groceries. Also found a Safeway in the huge strip mall and stopped there for our favorite nut and seed bread. Not only is it delicious but it is only $1.98/loaf! Monday, May 5 was another windy day. We worked around the rig, I walked after supper when it wasn’t quite so windy. Got lots of little chores done…always a good feeling! What money they must cost!

I was up at 5:00 this morning and just stayed up to watch it rain and to get caught up on email and stuff. We drove up to Camarillo on Thursday to watch our 8 year old Granddaughter play softball and then went out for burgers afterwards, we had a great time visiting with everyone and didn't get home until 9:00.

Kicking back on the Mighty Colorado. Friday, June 7, 2013. It's been a busy Spring here on the west coast. Put the Motor Home away in Feb and most of our free time has been spent at the River house. Had to repair the roof on the front due to wind and rain damage, so ended up doing a complete reroof of the patio roofs. Filled up the car at Sam's Club yesterday $3.70 per gallon. Diesel is about $3.80 a gallon and I need to fill up the truck this week for the River run next week. Have a good one.
