Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Visiting G'ma in El Paso, TX. We are off to Grandma's. Joaquin's first plane ride went fairly well. We were lucky enough to sit next 12-year-old Othello who aspires to be a "professional babysitter". He kept Joaquin entertained and assisted me in preparing his bottles, gathering toys, sharing his chocolate covered pretzels and telling me his adventures while visiting his dad in West Hollywood. . He looked kinda like this kid. Chunk from Gonnies, except Othello wore glasses).

Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Since Joaquin is now a toddler and going into that preschool mode, he is anxious to learn. He is absolutely obsessed with numbers! He can now count to 20 with no problem, recognizes numbers and some shapes. So Cookie's Counting Carnival video game was a perfect fit. Plus, Cookie Monster is his favorite Sesame Street character!
