This poem surfaced in the course of writing my forthcoming column for the Global Sisters Report, a piece entitled "For Now". more on that later this week. Remember what it means to go out into the desert. Remember what can happen when you invite the Spirit in. Like a fire in the night. For Now is Enough.

Finding my way in this world by being and discovering who I am. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Giftedness: Grace in Turmoil. Traditionally on your birthday you get to pick what you want to eat and the person "put in charge of your birthday" creates a prayer service to celebrate you. Beyond that, gifts are minimal or non-existent. They smiled. They were my gift. I was astonished. I knew exactly who the gift was from- Max.
