Welcome to Liverpool Daily Photo. Friday, 20 May 2011. Went to Southport. It rained. I went to Southport today. Southport is a seaside town about 25 miles from Liverpool. I had planned to go to the fun fair to take some pictures as it is still closed this time of year. But it rained. Again. So I went home. This is the pier. It is very long. But unfortunately because of the sky and the colour of the sculpture clashing somewhat, not a lot of the photos I took of it came out well at all.
