Papercrete Design & Construction: May 2005
http://papercrete.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Papercrete Design and Construction. A blog about papercrete and it's relationship to both natural and recycled buildings. Tuesday, May 10, 2005. Invitation to a conference. This is another try at a post regarding an invitation to a conference on ecological materials in Santa Clara Cuba in November to deliver a paper on papercrete. I am currently checking into the restrictions our "free" society has placed on it's citizens which apparently includes heavy fines on those who travel to Cuba.

http://rubysbigadventure.blogspot.com/2010/03/with-weather-being-pretty-good-i-ve.html
Where are we going? And, why are we in this hand basket? Thursday, March 25, 2010. With the weather being pretty good, I’ ve. Been outside quite a bit. It’s just cool enough to slow down the hornets. I can wear a long sleeved t-shirt ( just in case) and still be comfortable. The spiders? Well, you just gotta keep you eyes open for those suckers. That’s what the gloves are for. They only get you when you get in their hidey. Holes The hornets come after you for seemingly no reason. We’ ve. DIY Salvaged Jun...

Ruby's Big Adventure: A few pictures
http://rubysbigadventure.blogspot.com/2010/08/few-pictures.html
Where are we going? And, why are we in this hand basket? Monday, August 30, 2010. Ugly Russian olive trees coming up in the middle of the yard. Those are not going to be easy to pull out. More stupid Russian olive trees, with a nicely mowed path for Ruby. Those really tall, really green trees in the background are poplars (sp? It looks all lush and kinda pretty doesn't? They grow fast too. But, only part of them falls. And then it keeps on growing into a big thorny mess. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Where are we going? And, why are we in this hand basket? Monday, January 3, 2011. I finally got a chance to post the pictures of our Christmas yard decorations. It takes a while anyway because we have dial-up. But, with computer problems, there was just no way to get them posted. It's fixed now, so here they are. Wreath on the gate made with garland from the dollar store wired to the gate. Mini wreath w/ mini bow on each fence post. I made these with garland wired to metal rings from coffee cans. Http:/ ...

http://rubysbigadventure.blogspot.com/2010/03/its-official-i-have-lost-my-mind.html
Where are we going? And, why are we in this hand basket? Thursday, March 4, 2010. I have lost my mind. I guess I can't make any more "white trash" comments now. The following are pictures of my latest yard art projects. Bicycle guy jumping over the pump shed. Yep, that's an old Wal-mart ball for his head. This the rust monster he is running from. Close up of why the bicycle guy is happy to be getting away from the rust monster. I had a little putting the rust monster together. Thanks kitties! Http:/ shes...

Where are we going? And, why are we in this hand basket? Thursday, April 7, 2011. Sorry, it’s been so long since I’ve posted anything. I’d jot stuff down, but then I’d forget to post it, and it would be outdated by the time I would think about it again. Now that the weather is getting better, things are happening around here. Here are a few things going on. On another note :. May 25, 2011 at 7:15 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Ruby the Wonder Dog. Living the Fr...

Ruby's Big Adventure: Ouch!!!
http://rubysbigadventure.blogspot.com/2010/07/ouch.html
Where are we going? And, why are we in this hand basket? Monday, July 12, 2010. I may be admittedly lazy, but having no choice in the matter is another thing! Summer has shown up here. It’s hot! No excitement from behind us. They are laying low for now. I am (and most likely the county) giving them until the end of the month before the next move. I’m not sure what exactly that’s going to entail. For some reason, unknown to me, the folks across the street are avoiding us like the plague. DIY BBQ tool caddy.

Ruby's Big Adventure: Denied!
http://rubysbigadventure.blogspot.com/2010/07/denied.html
Where are we going? And, why are we in this hand basket? Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Big shocker there. Today I talked my new buddy at the planning thingy. He was not a fan of the applicant. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next. I don’t have the tub. But I do have an empty toilet and sink. It’s not a pedestal though. I think I have the materials I need to do something similar. The question would be where. Bulbs work great here. Here’s another fun idea. I love this guy. There was an error in this gadget.
