Pubbing and Grubbing: August 2010

http://livinginthecottage.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 15, 2010. Living in the Haitian Haunted House. Looking back on the past few months, there have a been a few highlights. I grew another creeper mustache. I met the girl of my dreams only to find out she is engaged a couple hours later. I ran across the Golden Gate Bridge. I went to a concert by Sir Paul McCartney. The ghost would also turn off the tv when people would get too rowdy watching soccer games. Some of the locals claimed to have been present when this happened. In their de...So, t...

Pubbing and Grubbing: hey, that man's not white!

http://livinginthecottage.blogspot.com/2009/04/hey-that-mans-not-white.html

Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Hey, that man's not white! So, after a long hiatus, I thought I'd throw some new stories up on the blog here - it may even be my last chance while still officially 'living in the cottage.' I apologize for the length . you might want to divide the reading into more manageable sections or leave time for breaks. Story 1 is my personal favorite, I would at least recommend hitting that one up. Caucasian) walking across the crosswalk. Even though the light was red. Anyway, we take off...

Pubbing and Grubbing: March 2009

http://livinginthecottage.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 29, 2009. So, it's been a while since we have posted anything and lot has happened since we last posted. Katie gave a good list of things that we did in Scotland. As great as the haggis and deep fried pizza was, I would have to say that swimming in Loch Ness. There were a couple other cool things we did in Scotland. It’s a really nice place. Scottish Nationalism is a great thing. There are a few things that Scots are very proud of:. 2) Not being English. 4) Inventing “everything”.

Living In The Club House

Sunday, February 28, 2010. I go to bed every day with graditude in my heart, I have so much to be thankful for. The boys at my age keep me moving and shaken. The silly things they say and the information they bring home from school! They are getting so big! Who knows what life will be like when the "empty nest" hits the Club House. Links to this post. Monday, February 22, 2010. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010. Enjoyed the day with family and friends,. Spagetti dinner with fresh green beans, salad,. In any case,.

Meet Dr. Morgan. Listen to Dr. Frank Barrett. Walk Me. Those magic words from childhood held an unseen but clearly felt, full of meaning, shared relationship and often unknown potential. Early on it was walk me to the corner to catch the school bus, to my babysitting job two blocks away, or walk me home from school,” walk me while I go to the drugstore for mom. In the spirit of Walk Me, we can make this next stage of your life. Aligned with who you. Living in the Coda. Coaching and personal and business ...

Living in the Congo

Living in the Congo. Saturday, 31 March 2018. Friends in strange places. It was Saturday morning and we were surprised to have someone ringing the door bell. Waiting to be let in were two men in yellow jackets, the sort used by road workers to make them conspicuous, holding a massive can and sprayer. 8220;We are not paying,” we said, “we didn’t ask for it.”. 8220;No, no,” they said, “it is free.”. 8220;Why are you here? 8221; we asked, “we had it done yesterday.”. 8220;That’s because we have to do ...

An apartment in Rome in via di Sant'Anna in the very center

An apartment in via di Sant’Anna in the very center of Rome, between the Pantheon and Campo de’ Fiori, where you can feel at home, equipped with all comforts to spend a wonderful vacation or business trip. Dear Guido and family, we so enjoyed staying in your apartment! Its location was convenient; it was sparkling clean; and it allowed us a small impression of Rome life. Thank you for sharing your home with us, for the wines and olive oil. It was very gracious of you! Becky, Bob, Kim and Vielda.

livinginthecorridor | Everything Camelback Corridor!

Arcadia and Camelback Corridor Best Pizza – Part 2. One of my absolute favorite restaurants in the Camelback Corridor is Oregano’s Pizza Bistro. Not going to lie, it is my favorite for many reasons. Where to start? Well, one it is, hands down, my favorite pizza! Two, it is owned by my favorite man AKA: my husband :). Three, well just read on. Oregano’s is incredibly popular, with wait times sometimes reaching close to 2 hours. Another reason I love it here? You already know I love great food, so it shoul...

Living in the Cracks

Living in the Cracks. Teaching and living in the 'in betweens'. Wednesday, July 27, 2016. You can call me Mom. I hope his mother wouldn't be offended because I know firsthand, even if only for a small while, how hard it is to be someone's mom. How much love and stress and worry and heartache it is to be called Mom. I would want her to know I don't take that title for granted, and that I am honored and humbled that her. Son would call me. Thursday, June 23, 2016. Dipping my toes in. Three year old brother...

All the things we can't say anywhere else. Huddled in the Cracks. January 26, 2016. January 26, 2016. Some thoughts and feelings are too honest and too ugly to see the light of day. They are still real. They still matter. Here is where we can say them. Cover photo: David Poe, CC. Create a free website or blog at WordPress.com.

Living In The Cross

A chance to Donate/CD's on sale. Living In The Cross. Wednesday, April 18, 2007. To present the gospel in it's purest form, for the reviving of the Saints, for the salvation of souls, through music and through the rightly dividing of the word. To bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. Thought for the day. Awesome is our God. Out of the north He comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty. The trees are still for just a moment,. Then like the brush of a hand,. Our God at work behind the scenes.
