20 cars and no one blocked in. Just what a party house needs. We raised the driveway by the house and lowered the pitch to the road.

Pouring the basement floor. Pouring the floor and keeping it level is the trick. On the right we level between stakes driven in the ground and level from there to marks on the side wall. Next we finish the concrete working from nee boards.

Pictures of jacking the old house by www.dingeymovers.com. Yes, we are really jacking the house up fourteen and one half feet. Digging out the crawl space to make room for the beams. The two main beams weigh 9500 plus pounds each. Even the ducks stopped by to watch. We went 28 inches and then dig all the digging but the footers. The jack system lifts all jacks at the same time. Now it's going up! Eight feet to go at this point! Who would do this? Four feet to go at this point! Two feet to go at this point.

For now we are doing vinyl siding. Some brick work will follow. Check out the two tone garage doors. We have to rip off the old siding. We're going to box around the beams. That's not the real color on the door. Just playing around with Corel Paint. We are removing the old antenna. We rented the lift from Wiford Rental and Sales. Just a little bit left to do. Check out the nuts on the dormer. We are going to box around the steel so you can't see it.

Vulcraft floor over basement

The garage floor over the basement will give us lots of space at a very reasonable square footage cost. We're using metal decking by www.vulcraft.com. Unloading the Vulcraft metal deck and the steel beams. Putting the beams and Vulcraft metal deck into place. We sealed the cracks so the concrete would not leak below. Yes, we poured the concrete in the snow.
