Living the JL Way. May 14, 2015. Love Like a Storm. I haven’t updated in a while. Haven’t had much to say, to be honest. I’ve been job-searching and working at the same time. Everything else has sort of fallen to the wayside. My writing, my reading…it has all disappeared. I want to fall back in love with life. When someone sends me a text message or an email, if I don’t respond within five minutes I’m either a) in class or work b) peeing or c) mad. It’s most likely the first or second option, because I’m rarely mad. In reality, the only people we can control are ourselves. And we all deal with that. One teaches letters and the other numbers. So I figure, let's start with numbers! The result: a 2 1/2 yr old that still can't identify a single digit sporting a polka dotted leg. Had a helper at school today which resulted in a box of crayons without tips, a crumbled up "m", and a picture just for me made entirely from sticky tack!
