Friday, January 4, 2013. We celebrated with Papa Collum, Tonya, and Jeff out at the country! We had his sister, Olivia, and her husband, Robert, and his sister in law, Lisa, join us as well. We all spent the night! We had a great meal of grilled chicken and delicious sides and desserts prepared by everyone. Monday, June 25, 2012. Brooks at 7 months. He loves that. Lexie and Tripp love Brooks so much. Lexie will read books to him, sing to him, and try to make him smile. Tripp sucks on his feet and hands and nose (ewww, ) screams in his ear, jerks on his arms, knocks him over in the jumparoo, which I didn't think was possible, but loves him so much! He is such a joy! Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Such a special night! Lexie had been counting down all week. Randall said she danced the whole night. He took her out to eat, bought her a corsage, a necklace, and presents. She was definitely spoiled. She was so happy to go on a "date." Randall is such a good dad! My little love.isn't he gorgeous? Monday, January 21, 2013. There is so much joy in my heart watching my little Brooks grow and learn and watching the dynamic of my family change as each child gets older. Watching Brooks makes me so very sad that he's my last, but maybe that's why I'm enjoying every little thing with him. There's nothing better in the world. He's grown so much this past week! This summer, in preparation for full-time school in the fall, Taylor started half days at her new school. Today was her first day and she was quite excited! And what first day of school would be complete without the mama taking photos? Potty training and water activities at school require a few changes of clothes - hence the ziploc.

Sunday, April 8, 2012. Sunday, April 1, 2012. I tried to get back to my teaching ways and create a themed week for the kids on Spring break. Somehow things got busy and we didn't get to do all the activities I had planned, but it was fun! I wish I did this more with my kids! Strawberry Picking: One of our favorite annual spring activities. Buying Produce: At the strawberry place they have a great selection of fresh produce. The kids helped me pick out some new vegetables they wanted to try.
