The Chronicles

Sunday, April 7, 2013. So it's been awhile, yet again. For some reason, the thought of purging my thoughts hits me every once in a while, and I'm caused to think and reflect on what has been going on lately. In the midst of all of this, turmoil continues to strike. I think I live in both extremes- the really good, or the really bad. Both of which make me stand back and ask, "Is this really happening right now? I think that concludes my rants and raves for now. Stream of consciousness? The privilege to ob...

The Chronicles: May 2011

http://livingwritinglaughing.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 6, 2011. ONE MORE DAY ONE MORE DAY ONE MORE DAY! Can you guess that I only have one more sleepsies before I leave for Europe for TWO months? I will admit though, packing is the worst thing. While I know that everything I'll really need I can get in Europe, I keep having the feeling that I will forget something I need. BUT I am really impressed with myself, as my suitcase is only 1/3 full and I still have plenty. Of space. for shopping! I think that's enough sporadic spewing of thoughts. The w...

The Chronicles: December 2011

http://livingwritinglaughing.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 5, 2011. Somewhere Along the Way. Friday, December 2, 2011. Oh well. Although everyone is out celebrating the last day of classes, all I have been wanting to do all day is to sit in bed with a cup of hot chocolate, and curl up with a good movie. I think I deserve one night to myself. It's nice, considering that I have the house to myself and that this cup of hot chocolate is totally hitting the spot. I think that's enough of my random stream of thoughts for one night.

The Chronicles: September 2010

http://livingwritinglaughing.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Saturday, September 25, 2010. Freeing Words Within a Rigid Structure. Swinburne's poem plays on this idea of binaries, and introduces a duality which he brings to the form and structure of this poem as well- it was this that really captured my attention and made me appreciate this poem a lot more. The Speaker of this poem seems to be self conflicted- conflicted with thought of love and hate, life and death, and is therefore thrown into a chaotic thought process. Intense device and superflux of pain".

The Chronicles: A Long Time Coming

http://livingwritinglaughing.blogspot.com/2011/11/long-time-coming.html

Thursday, November 24, 2011. A Long Time Coming. Like I said, I'm not great with updates, they come sporadically- usually when I'm trying to avoid something, in this case, a five page paper. So here's what's been going on. I went to Europe and took part on UVic's Holocaust Field School. It was simply life changing. Words can't even begin to describe the impact it had on me. I have to say, I have noticed a significant change in me since the trip. The most noticeable? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
