Friday, July 29, 2011. A Week in Alexandria! Walker spent some time at the capitol trying to fix the debt, however he decided to take some time off and enjoy himself ;). Walker and I just returned from an awesome week with our friends Meredith and Charlie! I survived the road trip solo with a toddler (no, I don't have any stellar tips except "keep calm and carry on"). Walker and Charlie are best of buddies and played so well together. That those hard days would somehow become a sweet day. Dates never held much for me so I didn't think much of it for a while. We dealt with secondary infertility for 18 months afterward and had begun to believe God had other plans. We filled our house with precious foster kids and were so thankful to get to love on them.
