Jeg er på min første ekspedisjon som. Mandag 8. oktober 2007. Utdanning, mat og skolebøker. Mange barn har falt utenfor skolesystemet i Burundi. Flyktninghjelpen sørger nå for at de kommer tilbake på skolebenken. Det har vært en lang dag med mange inntrykk! Dagen startet med en briefing på kontoret med info om hvordan Flyktninghjelpens utdanningsprogrammer drives i Burundi. Jeg har også snakket med elever og lærere i dag. Jeg er på min første ekspedisjon som. Fredag 21. september 2007. 2 oktober setter jeg meg på flyet til Nairobi i Kenya. Dette er min andre tur til det afrikanske kontinentet. Tidligere har jeg besøkt Sør-Afrika. Jeg ble nylig utnevnt til ambassadør for Flyktninghjelpen. Nå skal vi se hvordan vi sammen kan styrke nødhjelpsarbeidet i blant annet Kenya og Burundi. Det er er helt klart en likhet med en ekspedisjon og å planlegge en reise til et land med forskjellig kultur, språk og klima. Jeg er på min første ekspedisjon som. Fredag 12. oktober 2007. Det er lørdag morgen i Bujumbura. I dag er det ”Community Day” dag. Det vil si ingen har lov til å kjøre i gatene her før kl 10.30. I løpet av morgenen skal det være hovedrengjøring i byen. Det sies at presidenten går foran med et godt eksempel og reiser rundt i de forskjellige bydelene for å feie og rydde sammen med folk. I dag starter vi reisen hjem til Norge. Vi flyr til Nairobi og derfra videre til Oslo. Det har vært to uker med sterke in...
