Hangin' With The Millers. Mikee Ashley Payton Shelby. Monday, March 30, 2009. The countdown is on! They got her back right at 7:00 to start surgery at 7:30. They were out every hour or so to give us updates. The surgeon came out around 1200 to tell us it all went well and Payton was in recovery. The only thing they didn't plan for was having to use a smaller plate for her femur. Other than that no surprises and all went well. So the countdown is now on. Payton watching for the scary nurse to come back.
