Thursday, January 24, 2013. It is 34 degrees and we think a heat wave has hit. Really! For the past month it has been -20, 0, and once it got to 13 degrees. Ethan went on a boyscout camp out last weekend and it was -20. I literally prayed that he would not freeze. He came home and his cheeks were very rosy, but I had bundled him up with so many layers that he did ok. (There were other boys who were not so lucky- sad.). It is even to cold to go skiing- now that is cold. Natalie, David, Maddie, or Ethan.

Monday, October 3, 2011. I am so far behind so this is just a quick update. We have spent the last few weekends painting the outside of the house a beautiful yellow. There is nothing like standing on a two-story house with a paint brush, hoping that you don't fall. Ethan and I pulled off the siding on some parts, took out all the rotten pieces, and put the siding and trim back on. We also put up a new fence. David is busy at work.
