Saturday, July 9, 2011. My cousin, Jeff, and his wife, Nicole, have two of the most amazing kids I've ever met. Polite, articulate, kind, and intelligent, those kids are part of the reason I wanted to have my own. My compositions combine two and three-dimensional images related to nature. They are illuminated by a raking light that casts long shadows and suggests a landscape at dusk. The light and occasional bird imagery are metaphors for truth and conscience and, on a deeper level, represent a world permeated with spirit.
