Second Star To The Right. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. In the upcoming days, I’ll be getting back out there to hang out with cooperatives and NGO’s in town. Next month, I’ll be in Nouakchott for two days getting Razza spayed and getting her the vaccinations she needs. Second Star To The Right. Monday, December 1, 2008. Though Mauritania has cooled off, it feels more like the warm end of spring than late fall. The nights are pretty chilly and require a large blanket or sleeping bag. The other day, I spent the day wrapped up in a sleeping bag for the majority of the day. The thermometer said 84 degrees. Second Star To The Right. Saturday, April 18, 2009. There have been no complications, and no one has ever had any complaints about the vet. I’m glad that he has his practice, as he is the only vet in Mauritania that spays and neuters our pets.
