My sculptures explore the place where the need for autonomy intersects with the desire to merge. The work is built upon the thin membrane we create as a boundary between our constructed interior reality and the outside plane where we meet with others, and examines the ever-shifting relationships between nature and will, impulse and altruism, the toil toward ascension and simply existing with oneself.
