Saturday, November 22, 2008. Unfortunately this morning I needed to be at work at 10am, so I had to cut my ride short. I got up around 6:20 and checked the weather. The temperature was 58.9F, and as I watched it actually started to go down. I was glad I wore a long sleeve shirt under my jersey when I got out there in the wind! Monday, March 30, 2009. Sorry that this post has been a little delayed, I'm still working overtime hours. I've been writing on and off in my downtime the past couple of weeks. Thanks for being patient! I am excited to announce that I am now officially a 100 mile bike rider! With newbie jitters it was easy to get caught up in anxiety. Awards were handed out to the top fundraisers, and to those who were completing a TNT triple crown (triathlon, marathon, and century rides.). I put my numbers on my jersey.

Friday, March 13, 2009. Just about ready to go. My car is packed with everything I own that is even remotely biking related. But most importantly I have my bike, and my helmet, and both shoes. Though everything else I have will greatly increase my comfort during the ride, they are technically not necessary.
