Becky's Indonesian Adventure: March 2005
http://beckyslifeinindonesia.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Another year, another grade (7).living and serving God in S.E. Asia. Tuesday, March 29, 2005. Christmas in India surrounded by friends! Ah, the perfect example of being swarmed. I find it truly amazing how fascinated people are over here with white skin! Initially it was fine when people asked to have their picture taken with me. It kind of makes you feel like a movie star, but by the 20th picture it becomes rather tiring! Posted by Becky @ 4:04 PM. Monday, March 28, 2005. Posted by Becky @ 6:53 PM.

Another year, another grade (7).living and serving God in S.E. Asia. Wednesday, March 15, 2006. It has been a lot of fun having a lap top to play around with! I am a proud Apple owner, although I am still figuring out all the special features. The best part is all the photo features; including video editing, digital scrapbooking and a user-friendly system. I already have 6,500 photos on it! A Christmas party: Hawaiian style! Posted by Becky @ 6:50 PM. Posted by Becky @ 6:18 PM. Posted by Becky @ 5:30 PM.

My students threw me a surprise birthday party this year and it was wonderful! Posted by Becky @ 5:32 PM. Do I look surprised? Before our term break there were a few students asking "fishy" questions, so I figured I would be getting a couple gifts, I had no idea that they had planned a whole birthday party for me! Mark is in: Lippoland. Here is your online source of my relevant and irrelevant thoughts. Thursday, July 10, 2008. I have very mixed feelings about returning to Indo. I really miss all of my friends, the community, and the school, but I do feel a bit of angst about being back there. Before this holiday in Canada I spent 4 days in LK getting my apartment somewhat organized and visiting a few friends. I had forgotten how different things were there compared to a 'developed' country. Friday, July 4, 2008.

Mark is in: Lippoland. Here is your online source of my relevant and irrelevant thoughts. Saturday, October 25, 2008. Strange Things Indonesian: IndoCake. I've been thinking of making a series of 'different' things in Indonesia. There are many, many things Indonesian I love, and a few (in my own ethnocentricity) that I don't quite get. It's much more entertaining to hear about those followed by my jolly quips. So here goes. I'm not saying it's wrong. I'm not saying it's right. It just is.". In Gr 2 we ha...
