We've been a bit slack at keeping this blog updated. in fact, the last time we blogged Rach wasn't even pregnant, I hadn't been to Ausie and we didn't have our latest addition to the family! I'm sure you REALLY want to hear about the trip to ausie, but I'll first discuss the latest addition to the family! What's more, Rach gave birth naturally and WITHOUT pain relief. What a trooper! At midday we received the discharge papers and we left for Helensville Birthing Unit.

Sunday, March 29, 2009. Share and share alike, HE says! Our pear tree is laden with fruit, and this was the first taste test of the season. Monday, September 14, 2009. Sorry again for the lateness of posting - it has been a crazy couple of months. JJ is really no longer a baby, he is running everywhere (usually cackling madly). He desperately needs a haircut as you can tell from these pics, doesn't bother him though so it's not high on the priority list! He still makes more noise than actual words but here's the current list of words he will sometimes say (in order): Dad, Hi, Dog, Cat, Mama, Ta, No, Bye, Bird, Pig, and Mower :-). Luckily ano...

Tuesday, February 17, 2009. I left JJ safe in the lounge while I went and put a load of nappies on. See that piddle patch by his toys? See that nappy on the floor behind him? That nappy was securely fastened ON HIS BUM when I left the room. No more velcro nappies for us! I'm really really hoping it was a fluke, 7 months is far too young to be ripping nappies off (well, he undid the top tab, then wriggled out of the other side). Posted by Mrs O.
