Thursday, January 17, 2013. Charlie, Michelle and Mackenzie are here. It is so fun to have them come visit. Mackenzie is such an adorable little girl (20 Months). Charlie goes back on Sunday, Michelle and Mackenzie on Tuesday. They will be glad to get back home where it is warm. We will be sad to see them go. I am so glad you got to be there with Laura! Monday, March 21, 2011. I was reading my last post earlier today thinking, "How trivial those things are! My quilting machine is still gone, there are more car repairs to be made, still have many sewing projects waiting for attention, still snow on the ground, still have the normal every day worries and stressors. Sunday, March 4, 2012. Today in church we got a new RS Presidency. President is Jan Price, 1st. Counselor is Mary Hobson, 2nd Counselor is Rhonda Dowding, and Secretary is Clover McMurray. I'm so excited about the change! I have been the President for 3 years 9 months and 1 week. I had two different sets of counselors and 3 different secretaries in that nearly 4 years time. It is time for a change! I'm excited and a little nervous about what is to come next. It was good to see you.

Sunday, April 24, 2011. His Sacred Name - An Easter Declaration. I am more grateful for His atoning sacrifice each day of my life! Sunday, April 17, 2011. Our lesson today in RS was on Sacrifice. When we were asked to tell ways we sacrifice, I kept thinking of Sammy and how we had to let her go. Then the question entered my mind, Is it a sacrifice if we don't have a choice? Friday, March 2, 2012. When I was a child my birthday wish every year was that the snow would be gone by my birthday. Some years it is, some it is not. I still hope for that each year. Hopefully, Spring is just around the corner and not months away. Happy Spring! I hope for an early spring too. Sunday, August 21, 2011. We have been very busy this summer. I started work the end of April and am working usually 5 days a week. Not all of those days are 8 hour days. They range from 1 1/2 hours to 9 hours. The quilting business has picked up dramatically! Right now I have 4 quilts in my house. One I finished last night, a baby quilt is half quilted and two more are waiting in the wings to be quilted. Last Sunday Laura and the girls came to church with me. Sunday, January 15, 2012. Happy Birthday, Angel Sammy! Today Our Sammy would have been a year old. Today hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be. Not sure why, but I am grateful! In Sacrament Meeting the closing song was one that is always hard for me to sing. Where Can I Turn For Peace. When I sing that song, or hear it, I always think about the first Sunday in RS after taking Laura, Sammy's mommy, and leaving her in Lewiston, ID for college. It was so so hard! Would her complexion be fair or dark?
