Lizzie's Loose Ends: Handmade Stocking

http://lizzysends.blogspot.com/2009/12/handmade-stocking.html

Friday, December 4, 2009. I'm thinking today will be an "at home" day after taking granddaughter to school and my walk. They are supposed to come turn on the furnace today. Not that we'll use it much, but all the cold air coming in through the evaporative cooler will be blocked. I meant to CO granddaughter's mittens last night, but Youngest Son asked me to extend the cuffs on his fingerless gloves, so I got one just about finished. December 4, 2009 at 8:23 AM. Lizzie's Loose Ends: Santa Made an Early Delivery

http://lizzysends.blogspot.com/2009/12/santa-made-early-delivery.html

Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Santa Made an Early Delivery. My dear friend, DL, bought me a new phone for Christmas! Although DL and I see each other almost every day, we still text each other alot in the evenings. This is a super duper texting phone. What even makes it super duper special is she has a brand new one, too! Sock knitting has advanced. One of the scallop socks is done, the other leg started. One of the legs on my TN son's socks is finished, just waiting to be bound off. Its such fun to read ab...

Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Some one asked me recently if I'd gotten into the Twilight Saga thing. This is pretty much my answer! This looks like a fun project. After the holiday madness.or Christmas Day. Oh, this looks like another great project. Maybe this could be a bus riding project. December 8, 2009 at 5:36 AM. I soooooo agree with you! Lizzie's Loose Ends: Ode to the unknown knitter

http://lizzysends.blogspot.com/2009/12/ode-to-unknown-knitter.html

Friday, December 11, 2009. Ode to the unknown knitter. Earlier in the week I went out for coffee with Eldest Daughter and Youngest Son. We ended up at the local gently used store and I found the most beautiful hand knit sweater! DL's kids have been sick so she was housebound until yesterday. We met with BFF, F, for coffee and knitting. Enjoyed my morning walk much more than thinking about doing my morning walk. I am always trying to justify not doing it, but feel so good once I do. What a gorgeous find!

Lizzie's Loose Ends: Pocket Mittens

http://lizzysends.blogspot.com/2009/12/pocket-mittens.html

Sunday, December 6, 2009. I spent the entire day knitting, listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. TV just isn't interesting and my DVR is filling up with all my usual shows. Oh well, I'll get around to them eventually! December 6, 2009 at 7:08 AM. Nice mittens. Can you perhaps crochet a little loop and sew a button to keep the pocket closed or would that be too fidgity for a child? December 6, 2009 at 11:58 AM. Testing for you, Lizzie. Will let you know the results. It has been said.

Also can be doubled up for a lap blanket. Next time I will add an extra row of granny squares and less on the length. Links to this post. Tuesday, February 03, 2015. Finally my little carr...

Jana's Crochet corner: April 2010

http://crochetheavenfl.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Saturday, April 10, 2010. How can it be April already! Only 3 more weeks and my daughter should be holding her little son in her arms (and she better pass him onto me too! One baby afghan has been completed and she will receive it tomorrow. A second one is being made for the other grandma to have. This is her 1st grandchild. Boy, do I remember that excitement. Not saying that the second time around isn't exciting too. Trust me, it is VERY exciting! What do you think of of this pic? Besides being a croche...

Jana's Crochet corner: March 2011

http://crochetheavenfl.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Saturday, March 19, 2011. Sorry, about being MIA lately. Just don't like to sit on the puter at home once I get home from work. And the weekends, well, there always seems to be something going on (homework, housework, playing with the grand kids, etc). I have a few pictures to share. Not many as my crochet time has been a little limited. Pictures 1 and 2 are of a shawl made for an Elder Center on Pine Ridge. Definatley fun to make. Good thing as I need to make one for a friend of mine. On the hook now?

Jana's Crochet corner: WIM's from the last post

http://crochetheavenfl.blogspot.com/2010/06/wims-from-last-post.html

Sunday, June 27, 2010. WIM's from the last post. Here is how the WIM's from my last post have turned out -. Book Thongs - I bought the beads needed to make these. A BIG container from Micheals with hundreds of beads of all different sizes. So far 2, yes TWO, book thongs have been made. That big container still contains lots and lots of beads. Sue lives near a Micheals and a JoAnns and pretty much inhabits on a weekly basis. (Me? Now for the Cocoon - What a fun, quick project! And it would have worked had...

Jana's Crochet corner: May 2010

http://crochetheavenfl.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 29, 2010. Yarn, Crochet Hooks and Patterns. Getting that feeling again of having too many projects on my plate - or should I say "on my hooks". Trying to finish a balero for my daughter. The back and left side are done, just need to do the the right side and the sleeves. The pattern is pretty easy, but I always seem to pick up something else to work on. Like an afghan, or maybe a coaster or two - dishcloths, chapstick holders. Oh, my little grandson arrived on May 17th! Besides being a croc...

Jana's Crochet corner: January 2010

http://crochetheavenfl.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 3, 2010. And as with every new year, there are so many WIM's floating around the house. Well, with Rav, I guess you could say they are all floating around in my que. The table runner was finished with time to spare and really set off the kitchen table. No crochet projects were made for Christmas presents this year, so there was no stumbling over my fingers to finish projects on time. This made for a mostly relaxing pre-holiday. And I am also working on the Alpine Lace Scarf. The Guernsey ...
