I make one every day so I don't forget what I need to do with my patients. Things I plan on doing in the near (and not so near) future:. Spend 6-8 weeks in Australia this January. Yep. Laura goes to Vet School. The life of a student on a tiny island. Friday, July 27, 2012. Four Days. Fourty Eight Hours. Externship, week 1, completed. It was a great week, and it helped remind me where I came from and where I am going. The clinic I spent a week at is the same one that I worked as a tech at for a year prior to starting vet school. I will forever be thankful to the clinic, its patients, and its staff for all that they have taught me. I took her blood glucose. It was almost nonexistent.

Saturday, November 16, 2013. And explained how her classroom was set up - and I liked what she said. Isaac really has been doing well there, so that was a good choice. It is funny - it is in a Lutheran church and sometimes things he says remind me of when I went to grade school at a Christian school in Newport. It's similar enough at this age that it doesn't matter to me if it's Protestant or Catholic. That was possibly just as insane, but at least we were saving on gas money! This one is all Isaac though.

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Here are a few extra pictures from February:. We made colored ice cubes for my speech class for ice cube painting. Isaac helped choose and mix up all the colors. We also used the ice cubes ourselves later! Isaac also took swimming lessons in February and March and had lots of fun! He became much more confident in the water. He wanted to do more lessons, but right now I am feeling like not committing. there is a lot to do on weekends! My little ones in aprons! When i grow up.

Tuesday, August 19, 2014. I'm definitely settling back into the routine more - this week is way better exhaustion-wise! Although, it is only Tuesday. Anyway, fun update - yesterday we found a crawdad in the little stream that runs behind our house. Isaac wanted to keep it as a pet. Sonia called it a "froggie".
