Follow the construction of the JL&T Railroad, a HO single deck, proto-freelanced layout set in the 70s to 80s, based on the Reading Lines and Conrail merger era. Reading Lines GP35 #3647. Wednesday, 22 July 2015. Installing the Fascia's and Fascia Panels. Continuing on from the L&T Branch fascia and upper valance install I am still using 3mm (1/8") MDF for the fascia. The ability of the MDF to form curves around corners, it's light weight and cheap cost make it a perfect material to use as a fascia.

Hanna Coal Co.'s "The Mountaineer" made by The Marion Power Shovel Co. and assembled on site next to the NKP's AC&NA branchline. It went to work stripping up to 90 feet of earth above the coal around Cadiz, Ohio in January of 1956. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. The NKP's last order of hoppers came in 1964.
