I Got Cancer, But it’s Okay. November 12, 2009 · 7:39 pm. I am in remission! A few weeks ago, I had my 3-month post chemo PET and CT scans, and I am completely free of Lymphoma. It has been a long journey. I will never be the same person I was before this all happened, but I’m glad of that. I needed a change, an awakening. I am more thankful for life now than I ever was, and even more grateful to be loved by the wonderful friends and family that supported me through it all. My chemo port has been removed!
