Well, we all know there is nothing you can do about that. The part that sticks out most in my mind from yesterday is when Lemon Lust (jen) came across the finish. She came in behind us but this was her first race and she was super pumped to finish. Hands above her head she crossed the finish line with a huge smile whooping it up the whole way. These races are in order from my first race to most recent race. I have made significant improvements in my 10k time. I love the 10k and feel very confident in running that distance. I see sub 50 minutes in the near future. Over the last three years, I’ve completed several 5ks, 10ks, half marathons and a full marathon. 26 minutes 15 seconds 5k.
