http://thecardsweredealt.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
The Cards We're Dealt. Sunday, September 28, 2014. We usually have snow on the mountains by this time, but the weather have been sunny and warm extending fall for a few weeks. The kids are a big help. Sometimes people think we are crazy with 5 kids. Now days it seems anything more the 2 kids in a family is strange but we have found the older ones really help out, at least when they want to. That's it for this week. See you next week. . Monday, September 22, 2014. Fall Colors, Testimony Sharing. I receiv...

http://thecardsweredealt.blogspot.com/2015/07/aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.html
The Cards We're Dealt. Monday, July 6, 2015. Well these pictures loaded in a completely random order and I am not savvy enough to correct it, so. Our Summer has been fast paced and wonderful so far! We have been camping with friends at Man Made Lake, our new favorite place on hot days. This little man turned 1! Seriously he grows an inch a night! Summers in Alaska are all go. go. go! We have hiked the butte, gone to the lake, camped, finished swim lessons, tried to organize home school and do. Mr C helpe...

The Cards We're Dealt.: Update
http://thecardsweredealt.blogspot.com/2015/05/update.html
The Cards We're Dealt. Saturday, May 9, 2015. So there are many reason we have not been updating the blog frequently. Among them were a computer failure, password loss, 5 kids, laziness, and laziness. Did I mention laziness? We are still alive. Still in Alaska. Still working. "Chevron" is getting old but still gets around. I can't complain, at times I get paid to ride around playing in the mud and dirt. Yes, Lisa's home made tortillas. Topped with a little Greek yogurt and cucumber pico. We got ourselves...

The Cards We're Dealt.: April 2014
http://thecardsweredealt.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
The Cards We're Dealt. Friday, April 25, 2014. This is Panama City at sunrise as we enter the canal. The Panama LDS Temple as seen from the canal. Literally 6 inches on each side to spare. They call the maximum boat size "Pana-Max", anything larger must go around Cape Horn, a 7,872 mile trip. This year marks 100 years the canal has been in operation. It truly is a remarkable piece of history and human engineering. Here is the Boy's room. If you can't tell, we are excited for the change. A Day in the Life.

The Cards We're Dealt.: The Eye
http://thecardsweredealt.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-eye.html
The Cards We're Dealt. Friday, August 7, 2015. This day has been a day of tender mercies and incredible learning. Miss E had vision therapy today. Wednesday she got her first set of glasses! Don't have a picture yet. not sure why. I was so excited for her to "see" a whole new world, however, the glasses weren't as "corrective" as I thought they would be. Thus the vision therapy today. Tender mercy: Neighbors plans got canceled at the last second so she was able to take all my kids while we went to therapy.

The Cards We're Dealt. Tuesday, February 4, 2014. So this January the hubby and I went on a cruise. Through the Panama Canal. Some quick high lights of the trip.that I actually caught on camera. One of my favorite things, the out door theater. "Movies Under the Stars", Literally. With fresh popped pop corn and warm blankets every night :). Above also shows us going under the Pan-American Bridge. Connecting North and South America. Traversing the canal is an 8-10 hr deal. Nicaragua we saw volcanoes, bough...

http://thecardsweredealt.blogspot.com/2015/06/catch-up.html
The Cards We're Dealt. Sunday, June 21, 2015. So here we are. We have failed at the blog thing, but the persistence of family members has squeezed another post out of me. For those who complain. where is your blog? But I digress. This is more or less family history, journal, and generic letter writing all in one. So here are some pictures and explanations. Porter Wray making funny faces. Calvin just hanging out. Elizabeth participated in a pirate play at school. She makes a good pirate! We are considerin...

http://thecardsweredealt.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
The Cards We're Dealt. Sunday, August 30, 2015. With a morning frost on the grass and garden, I believe Fall is here. This summer has been amazing! Warm and full of adventure. The cold weather must be due to the fact that our President is here for the "Climate Change Conference." A hearty "Welcome to Alaska! Back to Our Family. And we have pretty amazing stunt-flying Grandparents. The kids were loving it, but not quite as much as the open fields to run and roll in. Sorry Grandpa. That and Grandma's lunch.

The Cards We're Dealt. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Lazy Week in Alaska. Elizabeth, Henry, Lydia, and Porter are enjoying summer. We had a bon-fire one night this week and made 2 batches of home made ice-cream. Other than that we spent the week playing games and relaxing. Monday, June 23, 2014. Here is a picture of the house, yard, and the red-neck green house. And yes that is Lisa soaking up some sun one day after giving birth. New Garden Plot still needs some work but it will do for this year. As always life...

http://thecardsweredealt.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
The Cards We're Dealt. Sunday, August 17, 2014. First Week of School. We don't know where they got the idea from, but the kids love to pop bubbles with their mouth. Lydia posing for the camera again. Look close, Henry is pinning Porter in the background. Porter got the upper hand moments later and had Henry pinned on the floor. First Day of School. Elizabeth in 3rd grade, Henry in 1st grade. Porter climbed all the way up and back by himself. He then slept for the next 15 hours. Mommy loves nap time.
