I kind of agree with your view on behaviourism, because of the fact that we grow up in an environment where it's everywhere and, like the example you gave about teachers and students, it's harsh and cruel, but that's the almost-foolproof method. Monday, March 23, 2009. Problem solving and Affective learning. Higher level of learning. Require previously acquired knowledge or skills. Used to solve unfamiliar problem (personally i feel that cognitive learning theory would be more suitable in problem solving-co-ordinating with a bunch of people for unfamiliar problem will create more problems- at least i think so ). Well structured- problem is clear with the "right" answer. Seems harder to measured or influenced the learning outcomes.
